The DHTP06 is a modern, stylish, touch screen, Smart Grid (SG) enabled programmable digital heating-cooling controller. Control of the thermostat is via a sleek touch screen interface. The controller can be used for heating or cooling with an internal or external signal used to switch the controller between heating and cooling mode. This is particularly useful for heating & cooling applications where a centrally controlled system (Heat Pump) switches seasonally between heating & cooling. The environment with in a room / zone can be controlled precisely to ensure that the required comfort levels are achieved efficiently. The microprocessor (brain) of the controller lets the user configure time, temperature control options to suit daily, weekly or weekend schedules. In addition to this and as already outlined the controller provides the possibility to seasonally switch between (Heating and Cooling). Smart Grid (SG) functionality permits the user to increase or decrease temperature setpoints to avail of low-cost electrical energy provided by the Electrical power supply company or when renewable energy is generated onsite.
