COMMERCIAL

Commercial Buildings are generally net producers of heat and conventionally are heated in winter using fossil fuel based systems (oil, gas etc..) and then cooled in summer using air conditioning systems. This normally involves the installation of two systems i.e.  a heating system and a cooling system. Modern Heat Pump System solutions provide a way of heating, cooling or heating and cooling simultaneously. If we use a modern hotel with a leisure centre as an example normally the pool requires heating all year round while in summer time and during periods when functions are on there is also a demand for cooling. A single heat pump system can provide heating & cooling simultaneously and therefore could heat the pool and cool other areas within the hotel at the same time. Heat pumps are very efficient in carrying out single functions i.e. in cooling or heating modes efficiencies of up to 500% can be easily achieved. However if a heat pump is simultaneously heating and cooling efficiencies of 800-1000% can be achieved.  WSR offer packaged standard solutions (5kW to 5MW) systems for large commercial projects that can:-
